Join Alysoun Owen, the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook editor, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Yearbook.

Alysoun Owen, the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook editor at Bloomsbury, will offer guidance on the writing craft as well as providing insight into the world of publishing. She’ll explore the will explore the routes to publication for writers of fiction, non-fiction and children’s fiction, and the resources available to them at every step of the journey as well as demystifying the publishing process with a clear overview of how publishing works – from the point of views of both publisher and author.

About the speaker

Alysoun Owen has been the Editor of the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook and the Children’s Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook for six years and has worked in Publishing in the UK and overseas for more than 25 years as a commissioning editor and project lead on print and digital products. She runs a publishing consultancy and project management company. In her role as Yearbook Editor, Alysoun gives regular talks at literary events and writing conferences across the UK about how to get published.
